Hi, I'm Keith Martin. I'm a university lecturer, software developer, photographer, designer and author. I am based in London.
Part of my background is in immersive media and 360° VR photography, where technical precision is non-negotiable. Many of the 'serious' tools on this site, such as Exif Fixer, were originally built to solve specific workflow headaches I encountered in my own work. When I couldn't find a tool to do the job, I built one – and then shared it.
Beyond creative coding, I am an experienced lecturer in design, interaction and publishing, a specialist in VR imaging, a seasoned graphic designer, and I was MacUser magazine's Technical Editor for a rather long (and glorious) time.
I built TheHelpful.com as a collection of utilities to solve specific problems I encountered in my creative work – from color matching in print design to repairing specialist metadata, and even calculating the length (volume, weight and area) of a large number of items including, of course, bananas (yes, really).
This site is where I host my code projects. For my full professional bio and to read some of my writing you can visit my main personal site, ThatKeith.com.
